About US

In 2016, we purchased our farmhouse in Swansea, South Carolina, and immediately began our homesteading journey. Over the years, we have learned valuable lessons about managing both our homestead and our family of six. We have come to understand that good husbandry—including rotational grazing, clean well water, and fresh feed—is essential for the health of both the animals and the land.

We also realized that it takes a village to raise a family and run a farm, so we were grateful to have Nanna and Papa join us nearby. By 2022, we officially established our farm to sell pastured meats and homegrown animals.

It has been quite a journey, and we invite you to follow us on social media for our day-to-day updates. While farming is not always glamorous, it is deeply satisfying. Through hard work and God’s guidance, we have designed a life of peace and tranquility.

Our signature product

I am excited to share an update regarding our work at Meetze Farm at Huckabee Mill. After a few years of refining our focus, we have found our niche in providing high-quality grow-out pullets.

Each spring and fall, we purchase female chicks from Hillside Hatchery and raise them until they are fully feathered and weathered. By growing them out to this stage, we ensure that they are ready to transition into any coop without the need for supplemental heat. This provides you with young, healthy pullets that are prepared to provide an abundance of fresh eggs every day.
