Our Pullets are purchased from Hillside Hatchery. Once we receive them, they go into our cozy brooder and are fed 20% starter feed. We also provide them with fresh, well water containing electrolytes to give them the best start in life. From there, they grow in a stress-free environment until they're around 6 weeks old. Once they get all their feathers, we weather them in the courtyard of our barn. Giving them the time needed to adjust to the elements without a heat lamp. After that, they're ready for any farm coop!
