Pastured Lamb
Meetze Farm at Huckabee Mill raises our Sheep on pasture in a similar way to our chickens. To begin with, we raise hair sheep. We've found them to be higher in quality and better tasting. Our sheep are kept in a three-strand hot-wire fence on pasture. They eat grass and grain to serve as a more natural diet. We provide plenty of clean, fresh, well water for the sheep to enjoy.
Most Sheep are raised in a confined stock yard. The difference can be seen in the color of our meat and noticed in the texture on the plate.
